Job Overview
We are a construction company seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Manager to ensure the efficient management of our company’s revenue cycle. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of accounts receivable processes, including client billing, collections, account reconciliation, and financial reporting. Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, collections, and account reconciliation using Sage accounting system..
- Oversee billing software and ensure timely and accurate client billing in accordance with contractual terms and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Perform detailed account analysis using Excel data analysis tools and spreadsheets to identify discrepancies or overdue accounts.
- Collaborate with other departments such as accounts payable, estimating, and operations to streamline revenue cycle management.
- Utilize financial software like Microsoft Office Suite (Excel formulas, data entry) and accounting software such as Sage to enhance operational efficiency.
Skills
- Proficiency in Excel data analysis, spreadsheets creation, formulas development, and account analysis techniques.
- Skilled in accounts receivable management, collections strategies, credit analysis, and revenue cycle management.
- Excellent communication skills for client negotiation, dispute resolution, and professional customer service via phone or email etiquette.
- Ability to perform detailed account reconciliation using double entry bookkeeping principles and journal entries.
- Familiarity with billing software applications combined with technical accounting expertise to support accurate financial reporting.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry, account reconciliation, and financial documentation.
- Capable of working independently or collaboratively within a team while managing multiple priorities effectively.
