Middle and High School Judaics Teacher
New England Jewish Academy, in the vibrant West Hartford Jewish community, is looking for a Middle and High School Judaic Studies teacher. This can a part-time position with ample prep time during the day. The subjects may include Chumash, Gemara, Navi, Halacha, and Jewish History. The ideal candidate will:
Inspire our students, infusing them with a love of Torah and Israel.
Develop a positive, engaging educational environment for students designed to challenge each student and bring out his or her unique strengths.
Make learning real and relevant to the modern world.
Cultivate positive relationships with each student
Develop a trusting partnership with parents.
