In this fast-paced role, you'll help patients and families navigate the registration process while ensuring accurate information and providing compassionate support during times when it matters most.
- Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism, compassion, and exceptional customer service.

Register Emergency Department and outpatient patients accurately and efficiently.

Verify patient demographics, insurance, and eligibility information.

Explain registration forms and obtain required signatures.

Collect co-payments, process patient payments, and provide financial estimates.

Educate patients on financial assistance options and connect them with available resources.

Answer incoming phone calls and direct questions to the appropriate department.

Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Collaborate with providers and coworkers to create a positive patient experience.

Remain calm and organized while working in a fast-paced emergency department.

Previous customer service, medical office, registration, or healthcare experience preferred.
