Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Master Baker / Artisan Baker to join our Filipino bakery in Duluth, GA. Our bakery specializes in traditional Filipino breads, empanadas, pies, and specialty desserts and serves customers throughout the greater Atlanta area.
The ideal candidate has professional baking experience, strong dough preparation skills, and familiarity with commercial bakery equipment. If you are passionate about baking and enjoy working in a team-oriented and relaxed bakery environment, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of Filipino breads, pastries, empanadas, pies, and desserts
- Mix, proof, shape, and bake dough using professional baking techniques
- Operate commercial bakery equipment including dough sheeters, mixers, ovens, and food processors
- Measure and prepare ingredients according to recipes and bakery standards
- Prepare fillings and ingredients such as vegetables, meats, and specialty ingredients
- Maintain consistent product quality and presentation
- Package baked goods for sale and distribution
- Maintain clean and sanitized workstations and kitchen equipment
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Work collaboratively with bakery staff to maintain efficient production
Requirements
- Experience working in a bakery, pastry kitchen, or restaurant
- Familiarity with commercial baking equipment
- Knowledge of dough preparation and baking techniques
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in a team-oriented kitchen environment
- Reliable and punctual
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience making Filipino baked goods
- Culinary school or baking certification
- Experience in high-volume bakery production
- Strong attention to detail and product consistency
