Responsibilities and Duties:
- Create a supportive, comfortable environment
- Assist with phone calls and correspondence
- Engage in recreational activities and friendly conversation
- Run errands and supervise activities as directed (medication reminders, dressing, etc.)
- Transport clients to doctors, recreation, and activities
- Meal planning, preparation, and shopping
- Light housekeeping (laundry, vacuuming, dusting, changing linens, washing dishes and floors)
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and daily living activities
- Prepare and serve meals, monitor nutrition, and help with eating/drinking
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medical treatments as prescribed
- Transport clients to appointments and run errands
- Maintain a safe and clean environment
- Keep accurate care records and report changes in client condition
- Offer emotional support and companionship
- Assist with bathing and other activities of daily living
- Escort clients to medical appointments and errands
Experience:
- Home Care: 1 year (Preferred)
- CNA/PCA: 1 year (Preferred)
Language:
- Spanish (Preferred)
- English (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Preferred)
