Responsibilities
- Safely operate a range of trucks such as tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers and or dry van.
- Navigate route driving assignments confidently, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with transportation laws.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, freight documentation, and delivery records for compliance purposes.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status or any issues encountered on the route.
- Ensure goods reach destinations in good condition.
- Verify delivery locations and shipping instructions.
- Proven experience as a commercial driver or delivery driver with a strong understanding of truck driving best practices.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the vehicle types operated.
- Skilled in operating manual transmission vehicles with proficiency in handling various truck configurations.
- Experience with freight handling, load & unload procedures, and route driving logistics.
- Ability to operate auxiliary equipment such as forklifts when necessary for freight management.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to trucking operations and cargo securement standards.

Pay: Up to $1,750.00 per week
