Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products or services that meet their needs.
- Process cash transactions accurately using cash registers and 10-key typing systems, ensuring proper cash drawer handling and cash management.
- Maintain knowledge of retail products, financial services, and retail lending options to effectively inform and upsell customers.
- Handle customer inquiries related to banking, loan collections, loan processing, and other financial services with professionalism and clarity.
- Support data entry tasks related to sales records, customer information, and financial transactions using relevant software.
- Assist in managing the cash register, including balancing the cash drawer at shift end and processing daily cash handling procedures.
- Contribute to a team environment by collaborating with colleagues on sales strategies and customer service initiatives.
Experience
- Prior experience in retail sales or customer service roles is highly preferred.
- Experience working in banking or financial services environments is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with retail store operations, including cashiering, cash handling, and retail math calculations.
- Knowledge of financial software systems used for transaction processing and data entry.
- Demonstrated ability to perform basic math accurately for cash management and sales calculations.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced retail setting while maintaining attention to detail.
