Purpose and Scope:
Delivers at a high level of competency in managing District and state-mandated assessments. Assesses and performs analysis on data, and prepares data to facilitate District and state-mandated assessment as part of the Planning and Accountability functions of the organization. Responsibilities require understanding of both theory and practice.
Essential Job Functions:
- Oversees, reviews, and approves expenditures for the area of responsibility; provides fiscal data for preparation of the annual budget.

Collaborates with supervisor and other District staff to develop short and long-range plans for assigned program or functional area.

Researches and explores feasibility of implementing new methods, technologies or programs.

Develops, schedules, implements, monitors and evaluates all programs, projects and operations in area of responsibility.

Researches, compiles data and prepares various statistical, administrative and/or financial reports as required.

Establishes policies, procedures and systems to help ensure District compliance with mandated assessments used to facilitate federal and state accountability reporting, staff evaluation and annual school report cards.

Orders, receives, inventories, stores, organizes, warehouses and distributes assessment tools and materials to school sites.

Assists with the transition to online assessments.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Public Administration, or a related field plus an additional two (2) years related experience; OR a combination of education and experience, for a total of six (6) years.
Degree Equivalency Formula:
Bachelor’s Degree= 4 years plus required years of experience.
Master’s Degree= 2 years plus required years of experience. Where Master’s degrees are required, years for Bachelor’s Degrees must be included.
