We're looking for dedicated, hardworking employees to join our growing company. This dual role entails operating as a CDL Class A/B Driver and Laborer.
Responsibilities
- Drive and perform work as a CDL unrestricted Class A/B Driver in addition to being a laborer (tanker endorsement a plus)
- Haul heavy equipment and materials needed for job site
- Pulling of trailers goose neck and enclosed; Loading and unloading of vehicles and trailers
- Installation of silt fence
- Hydroseeding for erosion control, operate a truck hose to distribute mulch and seeds
- Hauling of asphalt
- Seal coat/ Crackfill
- Travel to job sites
- Includes some weekend work
- Operate a skid loader /tractor
- Other job duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Possess a current Class A/B CDL in good standing with NO restrictions
- Possess a current DOT medical card
- No DUIs, no major violations, no more than a combo of 3 at-fault accidents or violations (speeding tickets) in the past 3 years.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be able to drive a manual, aka "stick shift" on a CDL-B vehicle
- Must be able to pass a DOT drug screening
- Must be able to use hand tools safely
- Must be in good physical condition; able to lift over 50 pounds numerous times throughout the day without assistance, stand for long periods of time, enter and exit vehicle frequently, and be able to regularly perform hands-on physical labor always outdoors in a wide range of temperatures.
- Must work well with others be able to take and provide direction as needed
Job Type: Full-time seasonal- May- November
Pay: $ 23.00- $28.00 an hour based on years of experience
