Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Tualatin, OR
Job Summary
A leading semiconductor manufacturing facility is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Material Handlers to support warehouse and production operations. This is a long-term contract opportunity offering stable hours, multiple shift options, and hands-on experience in a high-tech environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and process customer orders; stock and distribute materials within warehouse and production areas
- Move materials between loading docks, trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing lines
- Label, track, and record inventory locations to maintain accurate stock levels
- Perform cycle counts and report inventory discrepancies
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
- Complete transactions in SAP and update systems such as IQMS and Cell Fusion
- Conduct pre-use inspections of equipment and report maintenance needs
- Support outbound shipments, including crating, packing, and loading materials
- Coordinate non-standard crating, rigging, and transportation as needed
Required Qualifications
- Experience in material handling, warehouse, or inventory control roles
- Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklift preferred)
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and move materials as required
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP or similar inventory/ERP systems
- Previous experience in manufacturing or semiconductor environments
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $21.00 – $23.10 per hour
- Opportunity for overtime based on business needs
- Long-term contract with potential for extension
Schedule
Multiple shift options available:
- Day Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Swing Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- BED Shift: Wednesday–Saturday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- FED Shift: Sunday–Wednesday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
