Responsibilities
- Assist Prosthodontist chairside during examinations and procedures, including restorations, cosmetic dentistry, extractions, and prosthodontics
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, materials, and supplies prior to patient appointments.
- Take and develop dental X-rays using digital imaging technology such as 3D scanners and medical imaging tools.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Perform vital signs assessments and monitor patient comfort throughout procedures.
- Apply infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a sterile environment.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment plans, and post-operative care to promote optimal dental health.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards related to anatomy knowledge, dental terminology, and infection prevention practices.

Skills
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting, four-handed dentistry, and medical documentation.
- Experience with dental software platforms such as Medit Link and record management.

- Ability to operate dental X-ray equipment safely while adhering to radiation safety standards.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and infection control protocols.
- Competence in using advanced imaging tools like 3D scanners for diagnostic purposes.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
