Eberle Eyecare is seeking a friendly, dependable Optometric Technician (Entry-Level) to join our team in Anchorage, Alaska.
In this role, you will help prepare patients for eye exams, perform pre-testing and diagnostic testing, support the doctor during visits, and assist with occasional front-office tasks.
Previous optometry, medical, or patient care experience is helpful, but not required. Training is available for the right person.

What You’ll Do
- Welcome patients and prepare them for exams
- Review and record medical and vision history
- Perform pre-testing, retinal imaging, visual fields, and other diagnostic testing
- Enter patient information and test results accurately
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms and equipment
- Assist the doctor during exams and procedures
- Help keep appointments moving smoothly
- Assist with insurance, payments, scheduling, check-in, and check-out as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working with patients and learning new technology
- Able to manage multiple responsibilities in a busy practice
- Experience in optometry, healthcare, medical assisting, patient care, or customer service is a plus
Schedule
Summer: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; Friday, 9:00 a.m.–4:15 p.m.
Winter: Tuesday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; Saturday, 9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
