Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Pre-school Teacher to inspire and nurture young children during their formative years. Duties
- Help develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early childhood development, including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills.
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence among preschool-aged children.
- Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques.
- Facilitate activities that support toddler care, early intervention strategies, and special education needs when applicable.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and classroom activities to foster strong home-school connections.
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain safety standards through first aid and CPR certification.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, with a strong understanding of childhood development principles.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with parents, colleagues, and administrators effectively.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing professional development in early childhood education is required.
- Ability to create a positive learning environment that supports diverse learning needs including toddlers’ care needs.
- Must be 18 yrs old to close out a room
