Job Title: Assistant Construction Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Construction Assistant / Field Coordinator to support our construction team in managing day-to-day job site activities. This role plays a key part in ensuring projects stay on schedule, meet quality standards, and deliver a positive experience for homeowners.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular visits to job sites to ensure:
- Compliance with safety standards
- Completion of scheduled work by trades and vendors
- Cleanliness and organization of sites
- Assist the Construction Manager in updating and maintaining project schedules
- Identify and address construction or site issues as they arise
- Review warranty requests, determine appropriate next steps, and coordinate follow-up with the Construction Coordinator
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support construction operations
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of construction processes preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Computer skills; excel is a plus, ability to learn scheduling software
Work Environment
- Combination of field (job site visits) and office work
- Regular travel between job sites required
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
