RESPONSIBILITIES
Implements specific treatment programs for patients as developed by a licensed Occupational Therapist, according to the principles and practices of Occupational Therapy. Also collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment and assists Quality Assurance/Improvement programs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess an Assistant’s Degree as an Occupational Therapist Assistant from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program and have a current license to practice in the State of Louisiana. Desirable characteristics include a proficiency in written and verbal communication, the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the public, and the ability to work independently as well as function as a Team Member.
