Job Summary

Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, and electrical equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure safety compliance
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues using schematics and technical manuals; execute timely repairs or replacements
- Repair appliances and equipment to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency
- Perform installation, upgrades, and modifications on building systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and mechanical components
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to troubleshoot complex system problems effectively
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance logs
- Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during major maintenance projects or construction activities
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and equipment repair
- Service technician experience with the ability to troubleshoot using schematics and technical manuals
- Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration technology
- Familiarity with construction processes related to building maintenance or upgrades
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, lifts, and diagnostic equipment safely
- Leadership skills to guide team members or coordinate with external contractors during projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to maintenance tasks
