Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of nail services including manicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extension applications, and pedicures with precision and care.
- Apply advanced techniques such as nail art based on color theory principles to create unique designs tailored to each client’s preferences.
- Maintain strict adherence to salon safety protocols, sanitation standards, and disinfection procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, recommend suitable treatments, and provide expert advice on nail care and maintenance.
- Upsell retail products related to nail care, skincare, and beauty to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales revenue.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in the beauty industry, including esthetic laser treatments, eyelash extensions, hair styling, hair extensions, body waxing, hair threading, dermabrasion, and other services offered by the salon.
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently while providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits and positive reviews.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working as a Nail Technician or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
- Certification in cosmetology or esthetician licensing as required by local regulations.
- Strong knowledge of salon safety protocols, sanitation practices, disinfection procedures, and client communication skills.
- Proficiency in applying nail extensions such as acrylics and gel nails with precision; familiarity with nail art techniques is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform pedicures and manicures with attention to detail while maintaining high standards of hygiene.
- Knowledge of color theory for creating visually appealing nail designs.
- Excellent communication skills combined with a friendly attitude that fosters client trust and satisfaction.
- Ability to upsell retail products effectively while providing professional recommendations based on individual client needs.
