American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with CVOR experience for a hospital Operating Room position in Lafayette, CO.

Hospital Operating Room (OR) setting at an acute care facility in Lafayette, CO
4x10-hour day shifts per week, 40 hours per week
CVOR cases are a core component of this role; cardiovascular surgical experience is expected
On-call requirements to be discussed during the interview
Uses Epic for charting

Minimum of 2 years of surgical tech experience required
Minimum of 1 year of CVOR scrubbing experience required
Completion of an accredited ORT program, graduation from a non-accredited surgical tech program within the past 6 months, or 2 years of scrub tech experience in hospital or military surgical services within the last 3 years
NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
Active CO license (DORA) required; license required if applicable
BLS certification from the AHA required (must not expire prior to start)
DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Cardiovascular experience should be clearly reflected on your resume or profile
Functions under the supervision of an RN and reports to Surgical Services management
Responsible for maintaining the sterile field, preparing the OR and instruments, and assisting the surgeon within ORT scope of practice
Identifies emergency situations and exercises sound judgment in implementing appropriate emergency response procedures
Assists with room turnover, cleaning, and preparation for the next procedure
May assist with sterile processing duties
Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
