Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures.
- Bypass dirty dishes from stations to designated cleaning areas while adhering to sanitation standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly, including dishwashers and other cleaning tools.
- Maintain high standards of kitchen health and safety standards by adhering to sanitation protocols and food safety regulations.
Experience
- Previous food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation procedures is advantageous.
- Experience working in restaurants, catering events, or hotel kitchens will be highly valued.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during busy service periods.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and basic knife skills is a plus but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated understanding of food safety management principles ensures compliance with health regulations.
