What We're Looking For:
-
Graduate of an accredited school of medicine
-
Completion of an accredited residency program (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine for hospitalists)
-
Fellowship training (for subspecialty roles such as PCCM or Palliative Care)
-
Board certified or board eligible in applicable specialty
-
Current MD/DO license (or eligibility) in South Carolina
-
DEA license
-
Interest in inpatient care and hospital-based practice

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment

Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills

Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care

Interest in program growth and clinical leadership (preferred)
What You'll Do:
- Provide comprehensive inpatient care across hospital settings
-
Manage admissions, rounding, and discharges with a focus on quality and efficiency

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including specialists, nursing, and care management

Support transitions of care and coordination with outpatient providers
-
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and hospital-based programs
-
Contribute to the development and growth of hospital medicine services
-
Maintain a strong commitment to patient safety and Novant Health care standards
