Whitecap Search Healthcare Partners is seeking a skilled and dependable X-Ray Technologist to join our client at a fast-paced ambulatory/operating room environment. This individual will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient safety and delivering exceptional care. - Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures in accordance with physician orders
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and imaging techniques
- Maintain and operate radiologic equipment safely and effectively
- Adhere to all safety protocols, radiation protection standards, and infection control practices
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
- Accurately document patient information in EMR/EHR systems
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to support patient care
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate when necessary
- Completion of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program
- Active ARRT Certification (required)
- Active Indiana State Radiography License (required)
- Strong knowledge of:
- Anatomy & physiology
- Radiologic equipment and imaging techniques
- Patient positioning and safety practices
- Equipment troubleshooting
