Part-Time Pet Store Manager

We are a pet specialty store looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused team member to join our growing business.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to pet parents and their pets
- Open and/or close the store as scheduled our Store hours: Monday–Friday until 8:00 PM; Saturday & Sunday until 7:00 PM ( shifts are primarily evening and weekends.
- Managing the grooming department , making appointments, keeping appointments moving and on time.
- Stock shelves and merchandise throughout the store
- Lift and carry products weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards
- Engage with customers and offer product recommendations
- Learn about pet nutrition and confidently share knowledge with customers
- Drive sales through suggestive selling and complementary product recommendations
Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with the public
- Genuine love of animals and interest in pet care
- Reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented
- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and identify tasks that need to be completed
- Willingness to learn and grow product knowledge, especially in pet nutrition
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Schedule
- Part-time: 16–20 hours per week
- Additional hours may become available as business needs grow
