Job Description:
We are seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators with expertise in finish dozer work to join our construction team. In this job, you will operate finish dozers to perform precise grading, leveling, and site finishing tasks that are essential to the successful completion of our projects. Your expertise will help deliver smooth, accurate surfaces and high-quality results. You will work closely with the crew to coordinate work, follow safety standards, and support efficient project progress
Responsibilities:
-Operate finish dozers to perform detailed grading, leveling, and site finishing tasks
-Be proficient in both GPS and NON GPS operation
- Operate additional heavy equipment as needed for construction activities
- Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications
- Inspect equipment and perform minor maintenance as needed
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
- Work with supervisors, foremen, and crew members to coordinate construction activities
- Ensure work meets quality standards and project specifications
- Communicate progress and any issues to the team
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Complete required documentation, including time sheets and safety reports
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating finish dozers in construction or civil work
- Ability to operate additional heavy equipment such as loaders or graders is a plus
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation
- Ability to read and follow construction plans and blueprints
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Willingness to complete any required training or certifications
