Job Description: We are seeking skilled Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team and contribute to the success of our construction projects. As a Heavy Equipment Operator you will be responsible for operating a variety of types of heavy construction equipment to include but not limited to (Front End Loaders, Bull Dozers, Excavators, Off Road End Dump, Skid Steer) to assist in the construction, grading, and excavation processes to include plan reading, ability to operate multiple types of construction equipment, and maintaining communication with other personnel within the company as it pertains to completing jobs in an efficient and safe manner. Your expertise in handling equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, graders, and prior managerial experience will be crucial in ensuring the timely, safe and efficient completion of our projects.
Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment, including but not limited to bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and graders.
- Perform tasks such as digging, grading, leveling, and loading to support construction activities.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols, promoting a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Collaborate with team members, including supervisors and fellow foreman, to coordinate construction activities.
- Follow project specifications and blueprints to meet quality and accuracy standards.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and project managers to provide updates on progress and address any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Maintain and submit all pertinent documents and time sheets for assigned crew members.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to heavy equipment operation.
- Ability to interpret and follow project specifications and blueprints.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to undergo training and certifications as required.
