The Warehouse Assistant supports daily warehouse operations by assisting with receiving, organizing, issuing, and maintaining inventory and materials. This role focuses on organization, cleanliness, safety, and accurate handling of parts, while supporting inventory control and purchasing functions as directed.
Assist with receiving materials into the warehouse using Infor, as directed
Help verify incoming shipments and report missing, damaged, or incorrect items
Assist with cycle counting and inventory checks as assigned
Maintain proper labeling and placement of parts on designated shelves or bins
Issue parts to work orders under direction and ensure parts are signed out correctly
Assist employees in locating parts and materials as needed
Maintain cleanliness of warehouse areas, including floors, shelves, receiving areas, annex, and outside storage areas
Keep aisles and work areas clear of clutter, debris, and safety hazards
Assist with pickup and delivery of parts when required
Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices as directed
Communicate inventory concerns or discrepancies to the Purchasing Agent or Supervisor
Clean workstation and surrounding areas regularly
Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned
Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record; employment contingent upon acceptance by company insurance
Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Basic computer skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to learn warehouse procedures and systems
Ability to stand, walk, climb, and remain on feet for extended periods
Ability to bend, stoop, stretch, twist, and reach as required
Ability to exert physical effort repeatedly throughout the shift
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Comfortable working around loud industrial equipment
Ability to work at heights over 4 feet when required and while wearing fall protection
Ability to lift 15–20 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally
