Assembler – Wafer Fabrication Equipment (WFE)
Location: Tualatin, OR
Bill Rate Range: $22 – $25.30/hour
Schedule: 12-hour shifts | Fast-paced clean-room environment

PrideNow, the light industrial staffing division of Pride Global, is hiring Assemblers to support the installation and assembly of advanced wafer fabrication equipment (WFE) in a high-tech, Lean manufacturing clean-room setting.
This role is ideal for hands-on candidates who enjoy precision work, working with tools, and being part of a collaborative and safety-focused team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Navigate computer-based work instructions and schematics to assemble WFE equipment.
- Install parts and hardware using hand tools, torque wrenches, fixtures, and equipment.
- Verify correct part delivery and perform visual inspections before installation.
- Complete and close tasks by verifying work performed, Cell Fusion completion, and required documentation.
- Support audits through inspection and checklist verification.
- Work collaboratively with team members to maintain workflow and meet production schedules.
- Provide flexibility for changing priorities, including rework and pilot build projects.
- Complete required training and certifications for clean-room procedures, tools, and equipment.
Safety Responsibilities
- Follow all clean-room procedures and PPE requirements.
- Adhere to Lockout Tagout (LOTO & ZEST) policies and safe lifting practices (max 35 lbs).
- Perform Risk Management By Walking Around (RMBWA) inspections and escalate hazards when needed.
- Respond promptly to unsafe practices and escalate unresolved issues.
Physical Requirements
Candidates must be able to:
- Work 12+ hour shifts in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
- Lift and install parts up to 35 pounds manually.
- Kneel, crouch, squat, and reach frequently, including reaching into machines.
- Use manual tools such as wrenches, torque wrenches, cutters, and testers.
- Climb ladders (10 steps), push/pull dollies using ~40 lb force, and maintain an organized workspace.
- Distinguish between colors for wire identification.
- Navigate diagnostic software and computer-based applications.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in assembly, mechanical work, or manufacturing (clean-room experience a plus).
- Ability to read and follow schematics, drawings, and digital instructions.
- Skilled with hand tools, torque tools, fixtures, and measurement devices.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) and comfortable with ERP/data systems.
- Strong attention to detail, adaptability, and initiative.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Commitment to teamwork, continuous improvement, and safety.
