Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately following established recipes and safety standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders, payments, and refunds with precision
- Manage customer orders efficiently, upselling menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace, including kitchen equipment, counters, dining areas, and food handling stations
- Handle cash register operations, process retail sales transactions, and accurately process cash transactions using POS systems
- Ensure food safety compliance by adhering to sanitation protocols, proper food handling procedures, and health regulations
- Assist in operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively while supporting food preparation activities
- Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and serving guests promptly
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food industry standards is advantageous
- Experience operating POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and transaction processing accurately
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures is desirable
