We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Laundry Attendant/Houseman to join our dynamic hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Operate laundry equipment efficiently to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and guest uniforms according to established standards.
- Ensure all laundry items are cleaned, pressed, and stored properly to maintain quality and presentation.
- Assist with the collection of soiled linens from guest rooms and public areas, ensuring timely pickup and delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas, including sorting stations, machines, and storage spaces.
- Support the housekeeping team by providing clean linens promptly to meet guest requests and operational needs.
- Follow safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and operating laundry machinery to ensure a safe work environment.
- Perform routine inspections of laundry supplies and notify management when stock levels need replenishing.
Requirements
- Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to operate laundry machines and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and familiarity with dry cleaning processes is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude that fosters teamwork.
- Prior hotel or hospitality experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
