Hours:7:30 A.M. to 6:00 P.M., Monday – Thursday

Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
Must pass a Level 2 background check prior to appointment.
Assists Food Service Manager with quantity and quality of food preparation, purchasing and maintaining inventories, and quality and quantity control. Follows recipes and menus; prepares and serves meals to residents and staff; cleans kitchen, equipment, and dining area; maintains sanitation of food storage and preparation surfaces. General direction is received from an Administrative Superior.
QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires qualified applicants to possess the following:
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in large-scale food preparation.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENT
The selected candidate for this position MUST:
- Obtain Certification as a Professional Food Manager (in accordance with State of Florida Legislation) within six (6) months of hire.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred qualifications include:
· One (1) year of experience maintaining records, inventories, and purchase orders.
