Job Summary
As a Pizza Cook you will prepare and cook pizzas to recipe and customer specifications, help develop new menu items, maintain kitchen cleanliness and food-safety standards, and support timely service. This role is ideal for someone with kitchen experience, strong food-handling skills, and a passion for pizza.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer requests.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, labeled, and stored properly following food-safety guidelines.
- Assist with menu planning and develop new pizza recipes and daily/weekly specials.
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation and properly clean cooking equipment and surfaces.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely, accurate orders.
- Monitor ingredient inventory and report shortages to management.
- Adhere to all food-handling procedures and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food-service or kitchen role preferred.
- Strong understanding of food preparation and safe handling techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Good communication skills and teamwork orientation.
- Enthusiasm for cooking and creating satisfying menu items.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
