We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Maintenance Worker to join our team in Carlsbad, NM. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our facility remains safe, functional, and welcoming for all employees and visitors.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment for events and meetings.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete larger maintenance projects.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus.
- Proven experience in general maintenance or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects as needed.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
