- Travel LPN – Correctional Facility
- Eligibility: No local candidates within 70 miles (based on permanent address)
- Location: Tutwiler, MS
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (with possible extension)
- Shift: Primary shift could be days or nights| 12-hour shifts | 3x12 schedule
- 36 hours/week
Weekly Gross: $1534/WEEK
Job Summary :
The LPN provides basic nursing care in a correctional facility, including administering medications, assisting with sick call and physician exams, and performing pill call operations. Responsibilities include documenting patient care, monitoring inmate health, maintaining medical supplies, and responding to emergencies. The role also ensures safety, security, and compliance with facility policies and healthcare standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of recent LPN experience
- Active and Valid LPN license
- Current BLS certification (AHA)
- Correctional nursing experience preferred
