Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus
- Take food and drink orders from guests
- Ensure accuracy in order taking and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen staff
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
- Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
- Process payment transactions using the POS system
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and fellow team members
- Strong customer service skills to provide a positive dining experience for guests
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and procedures
- Proficiency in using toast POS system or similar software
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Hospitality mindset to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Previous experience in the hotel or restaurant industry is a plus
