Position: Warehouse Clerk – 1st Shift
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Communicate with vendors and suppliers to verify timely delivery of goods. Complete basic mathematical calculations to check weights and dimensions of shipments.
Package goods in safe containers to prepare for shipping, adhering to packaging protocols. Analyze data to prepare reports and identify process improvements. Work effectively with shippers to resolve shipment issues, damaged materials, and shortages. Correspond with carrier representatives to make arrangements and provide instructions for shipment and delivery of orders. Receive incoming shipments, compare contents against associated records and transmit to proper department. Factored shipping procedures, rates and routes in making determinations on best shipping methods for materials.
Must wear office/casual attire.
Bilingual to read and speak English and Spanish is a plus, but not required.
Job Site Location/City: POOLER/PT WENTWORTH/GARDEN CITY, GA
Shift/Hours: 1st Shift 8:00am – 5:00pm
Starting pay rate/yearly salary: $19.00
