Position Summary
STAUFF Corporation is seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead all warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, and personnel management. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and accurate distribution of products while driving operational excellence through inventory accuracy, on-time shipment performance, workplace safety, and customer satisfaction.
The Warehouse Manager provides day-to-day leadership to the warehouse team, develops and trains employees, ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, and promotes a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. This position also plays a critical role in optimizing warehouse processes, supporting visual management initiatives, maintaining an organized and efficient facility, and ensuring resources are effectively utilized to meet business objectives and customer requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operations & Performance
- Coordinate and oversee all daily inbound receiving and outbound shipping activities to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and timely execution.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and error-free order picking, packing, and shipping processes.
- Monitor warehouse operations to ensure customer expectations and service requirements are consistently met.
- Ensure all warehouse equipment and material handling tools are properly maintained and serviced according to schedule.
- Monitor and enforce proper documentation procedures and packaging standards.
Inventory Management
- Partner with the Inventory Specialist to maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting, bin replenishment, and disciplined put-away processes.
- Drive accuracy and accountability throughout all warehouse inventory transactions and material movements.
Leadership & Team Development
- Provide day-to-day leadership to the warehouse team while promoting a culture focused on safety, customer service, teamwork, inventory accuracy, and continuous improvement.
- Train, coach, and develop warehouse personnel to ensure competency, productivity, and performance expectations are achieved.
- Lead by example through a hands-on management style and willingness to work alongside team members when necessary.
Continuous Improvement & Quality
- Support and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, operational efficiency, waste elimination, and customer satisfaction.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational and quality issues while implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and visual management standards in alignment with 5S principles.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards and all company policies and procedures.
- Promote a strong safety culture and maintain compliance with OSHA requirements and warehouse safety best practices.
- Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements related to distribution and transportation operations.
QualificationsRequired
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of five (5) years of warehouse experience with significant exposure to receiving, shipping, and inventory control functions.
- Previous supervisory, team lead, or warehouse management experience.
- Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, receiving, and shipping processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated accountability and ability to follow through on commitments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to read and write English.
Preferred
- Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- CPIM, CSCP, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar professional certifications.
- Experience with Lean principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience working with SAP or comparable ERP systems.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to occasionally lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, twist, reach, and perform routine physical warehouse activities.
- Frequent use of close vision and hand/finger dexterity.

Pay: $58,487.86 - $72,049.89 per year
