We’re hiring an Intermediate Software Engineer for our POS Modernization team. In this role, you will work on a highly complex, fast-paced, cross-platform effort with varying technology solutions (infrastructure, software, middleware, etc.). As a vital team member, you will contribute to building scalable, robust, and secure solutions that will enhance the cloud platform supporting Point-of-Sale applications. You will work closely with the project team to ensure requirements are understood and turned into functional code that is peer-reviewed, tested, and deployed to our production environment.
Location: Flexible Hybrid (Lakeland, FL) To support our hybrid work model, candidates must reside, or be willing to relocate, within a commutable distance of Lakeland, FL.

Your Impact-
Design, develop, and maintain software applications for the cloud platform supporting Point-of-Sale applications, ensuring performance, reliability, security, and scalability.

Collaborate with business analysts and other engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Implement new features and functionalities to enhance the capabilities of the cloud platform supporting Point-of-Sale applications.

Assist with production installs, pilot monitoring, and problem determination.

Work closely with quality assurance and testers to ensure the delivery of high-quality, bug-free software solutions that will enhance the system.
