Duties
- Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and manual handling using proper techniques and equipment to ensure safety for both patients and staff
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Support patient hygiene, nutrition, and comfort by providing bathing, dressing, feeding, and other personal care services
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and policies to prevent the spread of infections within our care facility
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team to relay important information about patient conditions and needs
- Assist with medical documentation tasks ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Nursing Assistant or in a similar patient care role within hospital medicine or outpatient clinics
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, patient safety practices, and infection control procedures
- Ability to perform manual handling safely while supporting patients with mobility challenges or post-acute care needs
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide compassionate caregiver communication

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
