Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate detail-oriented New Patient Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for individuals beginning their fertility journey. This role is essential in creating a welcoming and seamless experience for new patients - from initial inquiry through scheduling and follow-up.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, an excellent communicator, and thrives in a fast-paced, patient focused environment.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with rotating weekends and holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for new patient inquiries
- Schedule consultations, appointments, and follow-ups
- Coordinate referrals and manage incoming patient information
- Communicate with patients regarding next steps and general questions
- Maintain accurate records in the EMR system
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support patient care
- Support additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to assist the team
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of experience in medical office or similar setting
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Experience with EMR systems is a plus
- Compassion and sensitivity when working with fertility patients
