What You'll Do
As a Charge Nurse, you will:
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor patient progress.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Provide specialized nursing care, including PICC line and tracheostomy care.
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and changes in behavior.
- Communicate patient status and concerns with physicians and nursing leadership.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and procedures.
- Administer immunizations and other prescribed therapies.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Supervise, support, and mentor CNAs and Nursing Assistants to promote exceptional patient care.
- Foster a safe, respectful, and compassionate environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications
- Current, active RN or LPN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Experience administering medications safely and accurately
- Knowledge of catheterization, tube feeding, and skilled nursing procedures
- Experience with EMR/EHR documentation systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- Long-term care, skilled nursing, or assisted living experience preferred
