Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using dental terminology and imaging techniques.
- Deliver high-quality general dentistry services such as dental restorations, root canal therapy, dental extractions, and prosthodontics.
- Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety and compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
- Conduct adult dentistry procedures with specialized care for patients, including behavior management and preventive treatments.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of all treatments performed in accordance with healthcare diagnosis standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care instructions while fostering a positive patient experience.
- Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
Qualifications
- Valid state dental license with eligibility to practice as an Associate Dentist.
- Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental diagnosis, endodontics, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and implant procedures.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and HIPAA regulations.
- Familiarity with dental office management software such as Open Dental, Eagle-soft or Dentrix is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to perform root canal therapy, prosthodontics procedures including dental fabrication and implant placement.
- Excellent patient communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
