Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Hardwood Flooring Helper to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will assist skilled flooring installers in preparing, installing, and finishing hardwood flooring projects. Your enthusiasm and willingness to learn will contribute to delivering high-quality flooring solutions that enhance our clients’ spaces. Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of flooring sites, including clearing debris and ensuring a clean workspace
- Support the installation of hardwood floors by handling materials, tools, and equipment with care
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and lay flooring materials accurately according to project specifications
- Help with the removal of old flooring, water damage restoration, and floor refinishing tasks as needed
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to aid in precise installation processes
- Maintain safety compliance by following all building installation safety protocols and procedures
- Support with related tasks such as caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and general handyman duties on-site
Experience
- Knowledge of restoration industry practices including water damage restoration and floor refinishing is beneficial
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong manual handling skills with an emphasis on safety and precision in construction environments
- Previous experience in remodeling, cabinetry, construction painting, concrete finishing or related fields is a plus

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
