Location: Wheeling, IL | Industry: Precision Manufacturing
Hi! I’m Trisha, a Senior Recruiter with TekPro. I’m partnering with a growing precision manufacturer that builds high‑quality metal and plastic components for demanding industries. Think: a clean, well-organized production floor, steady overtime, competitive wages, and room to advance.
It’s 6:00 AM in Wheeling. The CNC Milling Setup Machinist powers up a cell, dials in the workholding, programs offsets, and verifies a tight‑tolerance first‑article to the print and GD&T callouts. Across the aisle, a CNC Operator keeps the mills and lathes humming—loading, unloading, and checking parts with micrometers and calipers to keep production on pace. Later, the Quality Inspector validates dimensions, studies blueprints, and signs off on critical features—sometimes stepping onto a CMM to verify complex geometry. Together, they turn precision into reality.
