Voice Instructor Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Voice Instructor to inspire students and help them build confidence through music. Most of our students are children ages 4–13, with the occasional teen or adult student. The ideal candidate enjoys working with young learners, creates engaging lessons, and fosters a positive, encouraging environment where students can develop healthy vocal technique and a lifelong love of music.
Responsibilities
- Teach engaging private voice lessons for students of varying ages and skill levels
- Create individualized lesson plans that develop vocal technique, musicianship, breath support, ear training, and performance skills
- Foster a positive, organized, and supportive learning environment
- Provide constructive feedback and encourage consistent student progress
- Prepare students for recitals, performances, and auditions
- Communicate with parents and staff regarding student progress and goals
- Maintain accurate attendance and lesson notes
Qualifications
- Experience teaching voice to students of varying ages and skill levels
- Experience working with children and a passion for music education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate, encourage, and inspire students
- Music degree preferred; equivalent experience through professional performance, private study, or self-directed training will also be considered

Pay: $32.00 - $42.00 per hour
