We are a growing construction company known for delivering high-quality projects across the Greater Boston area. We are seeking an experienced Construction Surveyor / Layout Specialist to support multiple active construction projects by providing accurate site and building layout, survey support, and as-built documentation.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented survey professional who enjoys working in the field, collaborating with project teams, and playing a critical role in successful project execution.
Compensation & Benefits
- $115,000 - $135,000 base salary

Key Responsibilities
- Complete baseline construction layouts for active projects
- Provide ongoing survey and layout support throughout all phases of construction
- Perform site and building layout, including anchor bolt and structural layout work
- Create and maintain accurate as-built drawings using AutoCAD
- Assist project teams with quantity takeoffs
- Participate in daily huddles, toolbox talks, and project meetings
- Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and field personnel to ensure layout accuracy
- Maintain a strong focus on quality, precision, and safety
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience performing construction survey and layout
- 5+ years of AutoCAD experience
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Total Stations and GPS equipment
- Experience with both site layout and building layout activities
- Proven ability to create accurate as-built drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability and willingness to travel to project sites throughout Boston and surrounding areas (within approximately 1 to 1.5 hours of Boston)
