Strategic Ventures is currently recruiting a Legislative Affairs Specialist to join our team at Ft. Meade, MD.
The most qualified candidate will:

Review and analyze congressional hearing transcripts and prepare/submit Questions for the Record (QFR) and Inserts for the Record (IFR)

Research and write background papers, talking points, and written and oral statements, to include providing legislative briefings to leadership

Prepare USCYBERCOM leadership for testifying to Congress and meeting with members of Congress and with pertinent Congressional Committee Staff Members

Exhibit in-depth understanding of legislative and regulatory documents and an in-depth knowledge of the legislative and regulatory process
Requirements:
Required Qualifications
-
Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain CI Polygraph

Bachelor's Degree in Political Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.

10+ years of experience providing legal administrative support for programs/contracts, and / or legislative affairs support, and or department-level planning/ execution support

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent communications skills
