Join our Risk Management team and help process reports related to freight exceptions, damage, and compliance. In this role, you’ll take calls, document issues, and coordinate with drivers and shop staff to ensure timely resolution. Position Summary:
Performs supportive duties for the Risk Management Call Center, including taking reports from customers, clients, and employees of the organization, so that risk management freight exceptions and OS&D reports may be processed.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Handle Risk Management reports for freight issues including OS&D, load shifts, and hazardous materials
- Maintain records, communicate with drivers and shop staff, and ensure repairs are completed
- Manage rejected freight, salvage opportunities, and redelivery coordination
- Process related correspondence and payments, and track financials
- Build positive relationships, follow instructions, and maintain reliable attendance
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Associates degree; or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times.
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
