Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance to ensure optimal vehicle performance and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will help keep vehicles running smoothly, safely, and efficiently, contributing to our reputation for exceptional automotive service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of vehicle makes and models, including GM,FORD,MOPAR, NISSAN , TOYOTA vehicles and diesel engines, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and mechanical skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic software to identify issues accurately.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions, diesel engines, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machines to complete repairs efficiently.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems.
- Execute vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and engine diagnostics while adhering to safety standards.
- Assist with auto estimating processes by accurately assessing repair needs and communicating findings clearly to customers.
- Maintain detailed service records and ensure all work complies with dealership standards and manufacturer specifications.
Requirements
- Proven dealership experience or equivalent automotive service technician background.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical systems, transmissions, and diesel engines.
- Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and schematics interpretation.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machinery.
- Knowledge of ADAS technology and ability to calibrate or repair these systems as needed.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
- Valid mechanic license or certification preferred; relevant certifications such as ASE are a plus.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
