Job Summary
We are looking for a dependable, friendly, and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at our busy convenience store and gas station. If you enjoy working with people, can multitask in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in providing excellent customer service, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Operate the cash register and process cash, credit card, and other payments accurately
- Sell fuel, convenience store merchandise, tobacco, and other products
- Stock shelves, coolers, and displays
- Keep the store clean, organized, and well-maintained
- Verify identification for age-restricted purchases
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Follow company policies and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Basic math and cash handling abilities
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Previous cashier or convenience store experience is preferred
