Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced <PERSON>/Supervisor to lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion. This role involves overseeing daily operations on-site, coordinating with teams, managing schedules, and ensuring projects adhere to safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong construction management skills, extensive experience in managing teams in a construction environment, and proficiency with industry-standard software tools. As a key leader, you will drive project success through effective supervision, communication, and technical expertise.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety regulations
- Manage teams of construction workers and subcontractors, providing clear direction and support to meet project goals
- Review construction drawings, schematics, and technical documents to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation
- Utilize construction management
- Oversee construction schedule coordination to ensure timely completion of project phases
- Conduct quality control inspections and oversee construction safety management in compliance with OSHA and federal regulations
- Review contracts, change orders, and manage project documentation to maintain transparency and accountability
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing construction projects within commercial or heavy civil sectors with a focus on pipeline or infrastructure projects
- Strong background in construction management software
- Extensive knowledge of construction regulations such as OSHA standards and federal safety protocols
- Skilled in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and construction drawings review
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced construction environment with supervising experience
- Proficiency in construction scheduling techniques and project scheduling tools
- Experience with budgeting, cost estimating, and managing project financials
- Excellent managerial communication skills for coordinating with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Construction site experience with a focus on quality control and safety compliance
- Ability to operate technical instruments such as ohmmeters for electrical inspections when necessary
