Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive medical services. This job involves travel to patient homes, nursing facilities etc to provide care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform physical exams and health assessments including wound care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and record medical information accurately
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment options, and self-care techniques
- Assist in medical procedures and surgeries as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of family planning principles and practices
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting
- Proficiency in medical record documentation and electronic health record systems (e.g., Cerner)
- Familiarity with medical equipment, such as DME (Durable Medical Equipment)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle emergency situations calmly
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent education/experience
- CPR certification (BLS)
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
