Commercial Cleaner (Part-Time)
Akron Rubber Development Laboratory (ARDL), an industry-leading independent testing laboratory specializing in rubber, plastic, and latex materials, is seeking a Commercial Cleaner to join our Administration Services team.
Job Locations
This position will support cleaning operations at ARDL facilities:
- 75 Robinson Ave., Barberton, OH 44203
Required Capabilities
- Maintain cleanliness throughout office and laboratory buildings
- Perform heavy-duty cleaning tasks as needed
- Clean building floors including vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, and sweeping
- Gather and dispose of indoor trash
- Clean and restock restrooms
- Maintain kitchenette, coffee, and conference room areas
- Clean windows, doors, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
Education / Preferred Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred (1–2 years)
Additional Information
- Part-time position working 4 hours per day, Monday–Friday
- Shift options: 7:00 AM–11:00 AM or 9:00 AM–1:00 PM
- Eligible for select benefits after 90 days of employment
- Mileage reimbursement provided for travel between ARDL locations when inter-facility travel is required based on workload and operational needs.

Pay: From $17.25 per hour
